STAR ELECTRIC CORPORATION, a corporation duly registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission, was organized during the later part of the year 1997 headed by Engr. Gerald R. Martinez, the President and the General Manager of the Company. Engr. Martinez visualized Philippines in competing equally in terms of technology and commerce with her highly developed neighboring Asian countries. However, for the Philippines to accomplish this, she must have the machinery and equipments and know how to produce excellent, reliable and efficient goods. Hence, that vision resulted in the formation of Star Electric Corporation.

The main objective of the company is to provide local producers and manufacturers or clients more efficient and reliable Electrical and Mechanical systems as well as Instrumentations normally found in developed countries. These systems which are commonly found abroad are now locally manufactured which should bring about improvement of the system and thereby provide customers or end users with good quality and quantity products.

And with the coming of new business in renewable energy such as solar and wind energy the company is engaging itself into this field mainly because it is the future of the world when it comes to energy. The Philippines being an island nation is drenched with long sunlight per year can very well capitalize on Solar Energy for its electricity needs. Wind is also abundant in some parts of the country and exploring it for power generation is equally beneficial for the country economically.

Likewise, the Company also ventures into design, installation and service of specific electrical control system, machinery and equipment aimed at Semicon, Sugar, Cement, Food, and Construction Industries with the technical supports of its principal abroad in countries such as, Japan, Europe ,the United States, and China. It is our belief that only new technology coupled with good management is necessary for the Philippines to be able to compete globally.

Our mission is to promote widespread use of Solar and Wind Energy in the Philippines by offering affordable systems and components.
